Indira Gandhi Government Polytechnic College, Chhindwara

Indira Gandhi Government Polytechnic College, Chhindwara is one of the most reputed
polytechnic institutions of Madhya Pradesh. Established on
12 September 1998, the college has been consistently providing quality technical education
and industry-oriented diploma programs for over two decades. The institute aims to create skilled technicians,
industry professionals, and future-ready engineers.
The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is
affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. It initially began
as a Women’s Polytechnic College, but later it was converted into a Special Co-Ed Polytechnic,
where admission preference is always given to girls, and if seats remain vacant, boys are admitted as per norms.
